Young Carer’s Event at the CathedralIn consolidation of our recent Synod meeting’s topic “Ministry for Carers” you may want to read the inspiring article with video, bringing to life the joy of a recent event at Guildford Cathedral to recognise the work of Young Carers in Surrey. Rhythmic drumming, graceful movement and dramatic colours were the order of the day as the cathedral was filled with drums, flags and music. Around 70 young people attended the event, organised in conjunction with Action for Carers, which gave them a break from their daily responsibility of looking after a relative with illness or disability. |
