Something’s Brewing in Addlestone: HeBrews CaféIn our last Synod meeting we heard a very enthusiastic and inspiring overview from Ellie, the Manager at St Paul’s Church’s latest venture: the HeBrew’s Café – and were able to sample their hospitality first hand. HeBrews is a great addition to Addlestone’s catering scape, providing a friendly atmosphere for community groups like the knit & knatter group in the picture, an informal place to meet with friends or colleagues, and yummy food and drink sold with a “pay as you may” policy. HeBrews is not another once-a-week church coffee morning but a fully functional regular venue equipped with professional coffee machines running various brews and a daily menu according to food donations received; surplus end-of-date produce may be for sale, too.
