east-to-west update - Hannah’s Story“Hannah was regularly emotional, very tearful and not coping at all. After spending a year working with her Relational Support Worker (RSW), she finally disclosed something that happened when she was little. Suddenly lots of people were involved. Her RSW was there with her all the way. She’s now at a point where there is some closure on the case, she has taken on board what’s been discussed, the little nuggets of intervention. Now she is more settled, making positive choices, has better friendship groups, is maturing and stabilising.”
east-to-west believe that there is hope in any challenging situation. Our Relational Support Work is ‘a long term commitment to actively journey with children, young people and families through the issues they are addressing for as long as it takes’. This approach is woven through all our work and projects.
Founded in 1996, based in Egham and working across the northern boroughs of Surrey and the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, east-to-west supported 1438 children, young people, and families in the last academic year.
