Songs of Praise Christmas - ReviewOn every second Wednesday of the month, St Peter’s Chertsey celebrates Songs of Praise, a special service for the older members and friends, where they can choose their favourite hymns, interspersed with uplifting poetry and Bible readings and an address by one of the clergy. The service is followed by tea/coffee and home-baked cakes in the hall which all the participants enjoy very much – and of course all the more in December when Christmas decorations, cards and presents add that special seasonal touch.
