Winds of Change – Picture ReviewsIn Runnymede, six years of Rural Deanship have come to an end for Revd Tim Hillier, Vicar of Chertsey. Tim and his wife Pauline were thrilled with a book token and the beautiful hydrangea presented to them at this summer’s Chapter BBQ. Revd Hillier’s term ended in July this year and we welcome our new Rural Dean, Revd Jeff Wattley, Vicar of Egham, and Assistant Rural Dean, Revd Sandra Faccini, Vicar of Ottershaw, following their recent appointment by Bishop Christopher.
And the Diocese of Guildford celebrated a farewell to Archdeacon Julian Henderson with a moving service in Guildford Cathedral – Julian is moving north to be consecrated as Bishop of Blackburn on 10th October at York Minster. (Photos courtesy of Revd Stephen Sizer)
