First-timer training for youth/children’s/ families workers

This 40-week training course is aimed at anyone starting out in youth, children’s or family ministry for the first time – be they on a gap year, fresh out of university or after a change of career. The course builds basic skills, and provides support and a theological framework for the work. It costs £150 per term (including a retreat in the Spring) and runs every Monday from 11am - 3:30pm. Tutored by David Welch (Youth Adviser and convenor) and Alison Hendy (Children’s Work Adviser) the course is ideally suited to those at the beginning of their time in a paid or voluntary capacity.
