Fasting and Giving
We are called to show Christ’s compassion on our world; our daily prayer can be supported by giving up one meal a week (unless prevented by age or poor health) and by giving what we save to further the work of the Lent Call Projects.
Lent Call 2010 Round Up:
The total donated in 2010 was just over £28,500 - the gifts were be split 50/50 between Tearfund projects in Zimbabwe and the Bishop of Guildford’s Foundation for its work in the Diocese.
