As always, this is an excerpt of a much larger article and prayer list, this month stating how much harder their work is getting as things they’re hearing and experiencing are “becoming increasingly complex, multi-layered and heart-breaking”.
“As we head into the final part of our marathon academic year, we’d ask that you continue to pray for our team as they work day by day with vulnerable and children, young people and families in need. Please pray for continued courage to intercede, an ability to respond with compassion and care, devotion and selflessness, to build community and do so with integrity, regardless of any fatigue we might be feeling. We ask you’d keep praying that we find our strength in Christ, not our human endeavours and that we’d be encouraged and inspired by the differences He’s making in the lives of those we help and support. Our prayer is that we’d continue to honour God through what we’re doing… please pray that we’re able to continue doing this.”
