St Mary's Summer Fayre PHOTOS!The weather relented just for the day…and isn’t a fayre so much better in the sunshine! A good crowd turned out to enjoy Pimms or Gin Tonic under a churchyard tree or cream teas in the Rutherwyke Room, entertained by the Egham Band, or burgers or ice creams before watching Thorpe School Choir, the Thorpe Players or the Hythe Singers perform in the cool church. Of course there were also lots of stalls enticing guests to open their purses for a good cause, vent their frustration on a coconut shy or crockery smash when the tombola didn’t produce a win or take the kids for face painting or games. Lots of fun for all!
