A Festive Church:
Whilst still having a tree inside, most decorations moved outside at St Paul’s this year with a life-size Crib & Stable, a Prayer Tree in the grounds and a Journey to the Manger trail around the churchyard for families to join in with.

Drive-In Carols:
A Drive-in Carol Service was held for the community on Jubilee High’s carpark, complete with organist, singers and band members, so that everyone could join in with singing out their favourite carols from the comfort and safety of their own car! Everyone loved it, including the neighbours; something to repeat in future years!

Winter Food Project:
Responding to food poverty locally, a fabulous team of volunteers prepared and served 100's of free healthy packed lunches to the Addlestone community over the Christmas holidays, and every Thursday and Friday whilst the children have been learning remotely.

Puppet Christingle (above) & Crib Services (next page) Online:
Everyone got into the festive spirit remotely with St Paul’s Zoom Christingle and Crib Services, with children giving bible readings and prayers they had written from their own homes in the service. Over thirty families joined in online!

Cakes with Stars:
St Paul’s also followed up on their very well received Cakes with Crosses from Easter, with Cakes with Stars for Advent. The homemade and decorated cakes baked with love by members of their congregation were then given to some of the most lonely and isolated people in their community; one symbol of love and care at St Paul’s during the pandemic.
