St Jude's HM Government Grant Recipient

St Jude’s Church, Englefield Green was thrilled to report that they have received funding thanks to the government’s #CultureRecoveryFund so that they can continue to “be here for you and #HereForCulture” (the fund’s strapline!).
St Jude’s Church has received a grant of up to £18300 from the Government’s £1.57 billion Culture Recovery Fund to help them recover and reopen. They are one of more than 2700 recipients to benefit from the latest round of awards from this fund. On 13 April, Dr Ben Spencer, MP for Runnymede and Weybridge, visited St Jude’s and talked to members of the congregation involved in the application.
Initially they plan to use some of the grant to improve facilities and publicity for the various artistic and musical activities that take place in the building, particularly music for children. Regular updates will be provided.
