Thanks and Prayer Request from Kebbi

Here is an excerpt from our Kebbi Link Officer Revd Victor Oluwatosin:
“…We wish to thank God for His unfailing love to us in Nigeria as a whole and Kebbi Diocese and State in particular, especially for His intervention in the recent religion crisis in Northern Nigeria.
We wish to thank you so much for your concern and prayers which we believe have prevented the crisis from escalating to our area. We nevertheless solicit your assistance in prayer to God to sustain this peace and grant unto us an enabling environment to continue propagating the Good News to the unreached while discipling the converts.
Furthermore, the Kebbi Diocesan Synod for 2009 will be held in November in our new Cathedral building…we need your prayers as we prepare for this, especially for the President of the Synod, our Bishop Edmund, for the leading of the Holy Spirit. Also, pray that the Lord will send us help to put the new Cathedral building in good shape for the Synod.”
