Kebbi Update

Our Lay Chair Keith Malcouronne has received effusive thanks from Archbishop Edmund Akanya of Kebbi for New Haw and Egham’s harvest gifts to his diocese. ++ Edmund’s message to us: “Greetings and compliments of the season to you. We are indeed grateful to God for the past year and how He helped us in the Diocese to carry out our mission programmes in the year with resounding victory and wonderful testimonies of God's move among His people. Thanks for your prayers.” He also intends to write again to specifically thank these two parishes and update them on the primary school building projects these gifts are going towards.
You may be aware Nigeria faces a severe economic and currency crisis as a result of the recent collapse in the oil price. This caused the Nigerian Central Bank to restrict direct bank transfers so our gifts are being conveyed personally. This may be a blessing in disguise for Kebbi as our foreign currency gifts should now go considerably further locally.
