from owner George A Hobbs:
“On the site of Chertsey’s 7th century Benedictine Abbey, I have a family house where I love to receive people for quiet retreat and refreshment. Come for all or part of a weekday (Mon to Sat). There are several attractive rooms, a chapel/quiet room and a peaceful walled garden. I can accommodate from one to twenty-six people, and can, if you like, help you to plan your day. The aim is to give you peace and space to be on your own with God. Tea/coffee and biscuits are supplied. You can bring your own lunch. A CD/tape player is at your disposal. There is disabled access, ground floor toilet and ample parking.
Donations welcome to cover costs. To book please email
