Vision of a Fairtrade BoroughA note from the Addlestone Fairtrade Group:In 2008, Addlestone achieved Fairtrade Town Status. In order to do this, Runnymede Borough Council had to pass a resolution supporting Fairtrade and agreeing to serve Fairtrade tea and coffee in its canteens and at council meetings. This having been done, it now opens the way for the whole of Runnymede to become a Fairtrade Borough.We would like to see the Deanery churches become a part of this initiative.
