Please pray for the two fundraising events: One Big Sleep Out in July and The east-to-west Ball in September (details in the event section) which are hoping to raise the profile of east-to-west work as well as much needed funds.
There is a special prayer item, too, around a possible new opportunity! e2w has just submitted a written bid to support over 150 young people in Spelthorne who are 'at risk' of dropping off the radar when they leave formal education. That could mean being unemployed and/or not accessing further education which could have longer term effects on their social mobility and becoming all that they are created to be. This is an opportunity to act early and prevent this reality which is only becoming more prevalent in this current climate.
We won't know the outcome until the end of June (for a September start) but if it is God's leading then your prayer will make it happen.
