Bishop Christopher in Nigeria – Photo Review

The end of July saw Bishop Christopher’s reciprocal visit to Nigeria, together with his wife Hilary and three other people involved in Diocesan work. The photos below give you on idea of the variety of engagements during their stay, including a weekday Eucharist at St Luke’s Cathedral, visits to schools, rural villages and KAPoP (Kebbi Alliance for Positive People), as well as official audiences with the Emir of Kebbi in full state and the Governor at his palace.

The official report from Bishop Christopher and Hilary about their part of the visit is available here as a pdf file pdf_button, or as e-copies via the Runnymede Deanery Administrator/Secretary. It contains much detail about the various activities and interesting descriptions of things seen “along the way” that give an insight into country and people. It makes good reading and will give you more understanding for the life of our brothers and sisters in Nigeria – so please do feel free to request your copy.
