Feed the Need in Runnymede

The latest news from Samantha at the Runnymede Foodbank:
“RF has provided three days of nutritionally balanced meals to over 1600 individuals in crisis across the Borough since it launched 18 months ago. As a church led Christian foodbank we need to raise our own funds to continue to support our neighbours in need, and we have taken steps to begin ensuring that we can achieve this on an ongoing basis, by involving many people for small monthly amounts of money. We have launched our financial programme, "Feed the Need in Runnymede", which essentially seeks to fill 500 "spaces" at £4 per month. This would ensure the financial longevity of the Foodbank and its associated projects, such as the holiday lunch project for children normally receiving a free school meal in term-time, and the soup project for those of No Fixed Abode this coming winter. Our aim is to get people to consider the question "would you help feed your hungry neighbour?". If your answer is "yes" then please email us for a standing order form at This email address is being protected from spambots.
